DOG NUTRITION GUIDANCE
TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms apply to the general dog-nutrition education offered by La Casa Di Vulcano Cane Corso. By submitting the consent form or using the service, the owner confirms that they have read and accepted these terms.
1. Educational scope only
The service provides general education for owners of healthy adult dogs. Topics may include everyday feeding formats, food labels, portions, transitions, body-condition awareness, general raw-feeding concepts, food hygiene and questions an owner may wish to discuss with a veterinarian. Information is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, therapeutic diet, medical-nutrition therapy or individualized veterinary care.
2. No veterinary relationship or protected title
La Casa Di Vulcano Cane Corso is not acting as a veterinarian or veterinary nutritionist. No veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created. Nothing communicated through the website, email, telephone or guidance session is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed.
3. Healthy adult dogs only
This service is not appropriate for puppies; pregnant or lactating dogs; dogs with allergies, recurring digestive signs, unexplained weight change, abnormal laboratory results, diagnosed or suspected disease, medication use, previous pancreatitis, organ disease, or any need for a therapeutic diet; or any dog whose health status is uncertain. These situations require guidance from a licensed veterinarian and, when appropriate, a board-certified veterinary nutrition specialist.
4. Veterinary referral and emergencies
The owner agrees to consult a licensed veterinarian before making diet changes whenever medical questions or risk factors exist. The service may decline, pause or end guidance and recommend veterinary care at any time. Vomiting, repeated diarrhea, inability to eat or drink, severe weakness, breathing difficulty, collapse, suspected poisoning, bloat signs, bleeding or other urgent symptoms require prompt veterinary or emergency care—not a website message or nutrition-guidance session.
5. Raw-food safety acknowledgment
Raw animal ingredients can contain harmful bacteria and other pathogens and can contaminate hands, bowls, utensils, counters, floors and other household surfaces. These risks affect both animals and people. The CDC does not recommend feeding raw pet food, and the FDA advises that not feeding a raw diet is the best way to prevent infection from foodborne bacteria. Owners who nevertheless choose raw feeding should first speak with a veterinarian and use strict separation, cold storage, handwashing, cleaning and disinfection practices. Extra caution is required around children, pregnant people, older adults and immunocompromised individuals.

6. Owner responsibility and consent
The owner is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, obtaining veterinary advice, selecting and purchasing food, handling and storing ingredients safely, observing the dog, and making all final feeding decisions. The owner assumes the ordinary risks associated with the feeding method they choose and agrees not to rely on general education as a substitute for licensed professional care.
7. Communications and records
By submitting the form, the owner consents to receive email or telephone communication about the request. Submitted contact information, dog information, questions and acknowledgments may be stored in the private website editor and forwarded to the business email for follow-up. Do not submit sensitive human medical, financial or payment information through the form.
8. No guarantee; limitation of service
Dogs respond differently to foods and feeding routines. La Casa Di Vulcano Cane Corso does not guarantee acceptance, tolerance, performance, weight change, health results or any other outcome. Guidance may be refused when the request falls outside the educational scope or when veterinary evaluation is more appropriate.
9. Changes and severability
These terms may be updated as the service or applicable guidance changes. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
